To enable the viewer to gain a clearer understanding of the live scene/object of the area of specific importance, highlighting positions of key exhibits through the use of 3D visualisation and reconstruction modelling will provide an accurate representation of the case facts. The services can include walk throughs, exploded views of an object, architectural scenes, object recreation, animation and numerous rendering options.

Exterior & Interior Reconstruction
 
As our services include taking accurate scaled measurements and distances, we take this a step further and build a flat 2D plan into a an accurate 3D model. These models can be presented in a variety of ways from simple 3D diagrammatical formats to fully textured realistic models. These models can then be used to show key distances, locations or routes, as we have the ability to walk an animated character through a building. These models are proven to help explain complex cases and help give a clearer picture of a scene.
 
Object Visualisations
 
If a particular object is key to a case, we can create these objects in high detail enabling the viewer to see the object from every angle or an exploded view to see how the object has been constructed or broken.
 
Anatomy Visualisations
 
At ForensicPhoto we can recreate the human body to either show exterior wounds or we can recreate internal anatomy and organs to show how a person may have sustained an injury. We can also recreate how a person may grip or hold an object and animate this model to simulate a specific action.
 
3D Mapping
 
As well as our 2D and aerial mapping service we can model large areas and simulate various situations such as walked or driven routes. We can simulate accurate car models and realistic movement controlling speed and time to help explain driven routes.
 
3D Animations
 
Once we have created our 3D scenes we put still imagery of the models into our reports. It is also possible to animate all our 3D scenes, creating fly-throughs, specific movements and actions, as well as vehicle simulation and present these on interactive DVDs
